Thesis
Better Future is a portfolio of small- and mid-cap companies whose core business directly addresses a major environmental, public-health, or societal challenge. Every holding is chosen on the same standard: the company's central product or service (not a side initiative) must make a measurable positive difference, be defensibly positioned through technology, intellectual property, or market structure, and have a credible runway for growth over a one-to-ten-year horizon. Unlike single-theme funds, Better Future is multi-vertical by design. Holdings span clean energy and power generation, energy storage and grid electrification, precision medicine, medical devices and diagnostics, digital health, climate solutions and sustainable materials, and sustainable food, water, and societal infrastructure. This breadth means the portfolio does not depend on any one theme succeeding. The fund is organized into two sleeves. The Core sleeve holds established, commercially proven businesses within these themes, while the Aspirational sleeve holds earlier-stage companies pursuing larger, less certain opportunities. Together, they reflect a single conviction: the companies best placed to benefit from the coming decades of investment in energy, health, and sustainability are the focused specialists building today.
