Thesis
The Anti-AI Hedge is built around a simple observation: an unusually large share of today's market is concentrated in a single narrative, the artificial-intelligence buildout. This fund takes the other side of that concentration. Rather than betting on or against the technology itself, it invests in businesses whose fortunes do not depend on how the AI story plays out as part of a hedging strategy. The portfolio is organized into two sleeves. The Core sleeve holds companies rooted in everyday life, such as consumer staples, healthcare, insurance, waste services, utilities, and other essential operators, businesses driven by habit, demographics, and physical necessity rather than technology cycles. The Counterculture sleeve holds deliberately contrarian positions, including precious-metals and royalty companies, capital-disciplined energy producers, deep-value staples, and overlooked defensive consumer names, chosen for their potential to attract capital if the AI trade cools. Holdings are screened for genuine independence from the AI theme and managed under a disciplined framework governing allocation, rebalancing, and risk. The result is a diversified, qualitatively distinct portfolio intended for investors seeking exposure that stands apart from the market's dominant trade.
